If you are interested in challenging your mind and preparing for the MCAT, this group is for you!

Any Health Professions Advisor will suggest that freshmen, in optimum preparation for the verbal portion of the MCAT, should read challenging scientific articles each week. I will try to have different professors come and visit us each semester so that we can have a better understanding of the articles being discussed.

We meet bi-monthly. Members are contacted via facebook or email. It will be a discussion group, similar to a Book Club, but involving scientific articles.

MCAT Article Clubs Mission Statement:
The mission of MCAT Article Club, as a UTD organization, is to aid students who rely on the MCAT to gain admission into Medical School.  We aim to do this by providing an academic forum for the discussion of scholarly publications in the field of science. In doing so, we hope to better prepare students for the Medical College Admissions Test through increased exposure to challenging and higher level reading material. This organization offers a friendly and supportive learning environment to all students engaged in the pursuit of a professional health care career.
